Lewes winger, Christian Nanetti, is currently trialing at Sparrows Lane and will play some part in this afternoon’s reserve friendly with AFC Wimbledon.

Nanetti is Italian and was briefly with Raith Rovers before joining QPR. He was released by Neil Warnock last November and had a trial at Bradford City in March.

Nanetti would be a player for the future, in a similar way to Ruben Bover.

The Addicks are watching AFC Wimbledon midfielder, Sammy Moore. The 24-year-old was formerly with Ipswich and is also attracting interest from Reading.

Conor Gough’s successful loan spell with Blue Square Premier side, Salisbury City, has been extended and will give the young custodian further useful experience.

The chances of Paul Hart returning to Nottingham Forest appear to have receded, as Forest are unable or unwilling to pay the compensation Charlton would require. Hart himself did not appear to be overly enthused about the move.
